In the vast tapestry of human scientific endeavour and in the brief time we walk this Earth, it is almost a paradox to come across individuals such as Jerry Pelletier. Today the news of his untimely passing shocked the wider scientific community, McGill University, Sonenberg Lab alumnι and the Translational Control scientific community. Jerry was a kind individual and a trailblazer whose groundbreaking discoveries irrevocably shifted our understanding and impacted countless lives.
